Limerick 1-19 – Offaly 0-14
Despite hitting eleven first-half wides, the Treaty County took a commanding 1-11 to 0-8 advantage into the interval, with 1-9 of that first-half tally coming from play.
Offaly had done well to stay in the game at seven points each but they were outscored by 1-4 to 0-1 in the closing stages of the first half.
Offaly now must build on this performance for the meeting of Wexford on Sunday next in Wexford Park
