Offaly started poorly and had conceded 2 goals after 4 minutes but they settled into the game and went in at half time 2-12 to 2-04.
There was a comeback as expected in the second half from Wexford but Offaly were able to stem the tide and finished strongly on a final score of 2-22 to 3-11.
