Offaly GAA fans have an opportunity to support the senior teams in both codes this Sunday, 1st March.
A double-header has been fixed for Bord na Mona O’Connor Park, with the hurlers taking on Wicklow at 12.30pm, and the footballers up against Down at 2.30pm.
Both teams should have strong support coming on the back of wins last weekend. The hurlers had a big victory over Mayo, while the footballers defeated Leitrim by eight points in Carrick-on-Shannon.
Both sides are still in contention for promotion and another win in each code would be a huge help to those ambitions.
