The 2023 Molloy Environmental Systems Offaly Club Hurling Championships commence this weekend. Games will take place at all adult grades with some cracking contests in store over the weekend.
It promises to be another exciting season, following on from an historic achievement by Shinrone in 2022 when they won the Sean Robbins Cup for the first time ever. The champions begin the defence of their title on Friday evening versus Coolderry in Birr.
Elsewhere in the Senior Hurling Championship on Friday evening, it’s Tullamore v St Rynagh’s, Seir Kieran v Belmont and Kinnitty v Birr. (Ballinamere and Kilcormac-Killoughey have a bye in Round 1).
Tickets for all games must be purchased online and they are available via this link: BUY TICKETS
The Club Championships were officially launched at the Molloy Environmental Systems premises last Saturday. County Board Chairperson, Michael Duignan, complimented Donal Molloy for his long-standing sponsorship of the Club Hurling Championships, which now extends for more than ten years.
Mr Molloy remarked on the tremendous achievement of the Offaly Minor and U20 hurlers in recent years and said he was delighted to be associated with the Club Hurling Championships.
