When and where did you first start playing hurling? I’ve been hurling as long as I can remember, probably started hurling with my club Belmont from Under 6/8’s onwards. I remember choosing a coloring book and crayons over going to the 1994 All-Ireland – I was only 5 years old so I’ll have to be forgiven

Biggest influence on your hurling career: My father Kieran and my club mentor Jimmy Egan.

What sporting event would you most like to attend? Olympic games

To date what is your favourite moment in sport? Playing the All Ireland champions Kilkenny in the Leinster Championship in 2013 in front of a full house in O’Connor Park in 2013

In ten years time I hope to be: Happy, healthy and settled while spending my spare time polishing a Leinster Championship medal and an Offaly Senior County medal

One thing you may not know about me……

Made my Offaly Senior debut as a footballer in the 2010 Allianz League against Roscommon. Played in a Leinster Minor football final with Offaly in 2006 and captained the Offaly Minor footballers in 2007.
