The big guns are still in the hunt for honours in the Tullamore Court Hotel Offaly Senior Football Championship.
Reigning champions Rhode and the 2021 winners Tullamore have advanced directly to the semi-finals after topping their respective groups. They will now be favourites to contest the decider for the fourth year in a row.
Those two clubs await the winners of the quarter-finals, which are Ferbane v Bracknagh and Durrow v Edenderry.
In the Senior B Football Championship, Cappincur and Clonbullogue were the table-toppers and so too are also into the penultimate round. The quarter-finals will be Ballycumber v Clonbullogue and Ballycommon v Walsh Island.
Then, in the Intermediate Football Championship, the form teams so far have been St Brigid’s and Daingean, who finished top of their groups. The quarter-final contests are Erin Rovers v Ballinagar and Tullamore v Ferbane.
Action in the Junior grades is also progressing smoothly, so the scene is set for an exciting conclusion to the Football Championships in Offaly this season.
