The performances of David Nally for the Offaly hurlers and Anton Sullivan for the county footballers were recognised with their selection on ‘Teams of the Year’ for 2022.
David Nally of Belmont was selected at midfield on the Joe McDonagh team of the year following some excellent performances this season, the highlight of which was his display versus Kerrry in Tralee.
And fresh from his heroics with Rhode, Anton Sullivan was chosen at wing forward on the inaugural Tailteann Cup team of the year after excellent performances against Wexford, New York and Westmeath.
They were honoured at a gala banquet in Croke Park on Friday, 21st October.
