The Offaly Senior football team to play Westmeath, in Sunday’s Leinster Semi-Final at Bord na Móna, O’Connor Pk, marks the return of Niall McNamee to the side. The Rhode man, who missed all of the National Football League through injury, has been handed the number 15 jersey and will be making his 41st Championship appearance.
Brian Darby will line out at corner back, nine years after making his Championship debut against Westmeath wearing the No 10 jersey. Incidentally Alan Mulhall also made his first Championship appearance in that game, when he came on as a substitute. The side will be captained by Edenderry’s Sean Pender
