Offaly GAA recently ran their U14 Hurling Féile Competitions, over the last two weekend and on Sunday morning last in The Faithful Fields clubs the length and breadth of the County flocked to the Faithful Field as they bided to represent Offaly in the John West Féile na nGael Competition which is being hosted by Connaught GAA from 8th to 10th June 2018.
This year Offaly will have 3 Clubs representing the County – in Division 2 – based in Michael Cusacks GAA, Div 4 based in Salthill Knocknacarra GAA and Div 7 based in Castlebar Mitchels GAA.
It was a brilliant occasion as 12 teams across the county flocked to the Faithful Fields. With some fantastic skill on display, the clubs winners on the day were Division 1 – Kilcormac/Killoughey, Division 2 – CRC Gaels, Division 3 – Clara.
A special word of thanks goes to Christy Todd and the Faithful Fields Committee, Martin Cashen and the coaching and games staff in particular Michael Cleary, all referees who aided to make sure our games were played in a fine sporting manner.
