Coaching and Games Offaly are running a performance analysis course for Offaly GAA coaches (provisionally booked for a Saturday at the end of May and June).
The coach tutor is Mr. Colm Clear one of the most experienced coaches and performance analysts in the country.
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to.
Identify and discuss the principles of best practice in Performance Analysis delivery
Identify, prioritise and design a simple system to measure appropriate performance
indicators (PIs) – Notational / video depending on what is available.
Demonstrate the ability to collect objective, accurate information based on an agreed
framework and test its reliability using percentage error calculations.
Analyse, interpret and refine data into an understandable and appropriate format for
analysis by coaches.
Facilitate the coach-led delivery of appropriate feedback to participants, taking into
account their bio-psych-social needs in a scenario based setting.
Assess and evaluate the processes designed and their personal performance in a scenario
based setting.
The cost of this 2 day course is normally €100 but we have subsidised the event so it will only cost you €20 for potentially game changing content to help your teams reach the next level.
