The Offaly County Final of Scor Sinsuir was held the weekend of 21-22nd February, with the quiz taking place over two night.
Six teams took part on the 1st night with the top three qualifying for the 2nd round the following night, namely Ferbane, Edenderry and St. Rynagh’s.
The main competitions and part 2 of the Traith Na gCeist took place in the Further Education Centre, in Banagher on the Saturday night. Following an excellent night’s entertainment, the following competitors emerged victorious.
Rince Foirne – Birr
Amhranaoicht Aonair – Peter Keane – St. Rynagh’s
Aithrisearacht/Scealaiocht – Eamonn Franks Shinrone
Bailead Ghrupa – Ferbane
Traith Na gCeist – Edenderry
Edenderry automatically progress to the Leinster Final on the 22nd March with the rest of our winners progressing to the Leinster Semi-final on the 8th of March.
