The Offaly Senior Football Championship final on 31st October will be a repeat of the 2020 decider when reigning champions Rhode take on Tullamore at Bord na Mona O’Connor Park.
Tullamore defeated an understrength Ferbane side on Saturday by 4-10 to 0-14, with Luke Egan (2), Luke Plunkett and Shane Dooley netting the goals. Then, On Sunday, Rhode overcame Durrow by 3-09 to 0-10 with Anton Sullivan (penalty), Aaron Kellaghan and Niall McNamee raising the green flags.
The semi-finals of the Senior B, Intermediate and Junior A Championships also took place over the weekend. Here’s the results –
Senior Semi-Finals: Tullamore 4-10, Ferbane 0-14; Rhode 3-09, Durrow 0-10
Senior B Semi-Finals: Clara 2-22, Walsh Island 1-04; Tubber 1-17, Ballycumber 2-05
Intermediate Semi-Finals: Clonbullogue 1-14, Daingean 1-05; Raheen 5-17, Clodiagh Gaels 1-09
Junior A Semi-Finals: Tullamore 0-16, Rhode 0-12; Edenderry 1-09, Doon 0-07
