Round-Up Of Offaly Hurling Action

Reigning champions St Rynagh’s are the first team to be 100% guaranteed of a place in this year’s Molloy Environmental Systems Senior Hurling Championship. Ken Hogan’s side struck for two early goals against Ballinamere on Sunday evening by Aaron Kenny and Luke O’Connor. Ballinamere kept plugging away and a Brian Duignan penalty helped narrow the gap before the end.

On Saturday, Oisin Kelly was the start of the show as Belmont beat Shinrone by seven points, while Kilcormac/Killoughey edged past Coolderry, with Lochlann Kavanagh netting the all-important goal for the winners. The Birr v Seir Kieran game was postponed due to a bereavement and it will take place next Saturday.
