Gracefield’s Tommy Byrne was elected County Chairperson at Offaly GAA convention 2016, held in O’Connor Pk on Tuesday December 6th.
Byrne defeated Tullamore’s Fergal McKeown and Tubber’s Joe Higgins on the first count. The outgoing Chairperson Padraig Boland has stepped down after four years at the helm. Other Officers elected were

Clodiagh Gaels were presented with Club of the Year Award, while Ballinamere/Durrow won the underage club of the year.
